Cavity Wall Insulation Explained
Tameside Insulation Ltd use InstaFibre Loft Quilt to insulate the loft area of their customer's properties.
InstaFibre loft insulation is designed to reduce heat loss in homes. As much as 25% of all heat lost from the average home escapes through the roof.
Insulating your roof space or topping up to the required standards will enable you to reduce the amount of heat needed to maintain your comfort levels.
InstaFibre Loft Quilt can be simply rolled between and over joists to provide the recommended levels of loft insulation or may be used to top-up existing insulation where it does not meet the standards.
InstaFibre Loft Quilt will perform consistently under all conditions and has been certified under the European Harmonised Standard BS EN 16132 with an A1 fire classification.
The Installation Process
Following an inspection from a surveyor, they will decide on the amount of insulation required to bring your insulation up to standard.
InstaFibre Loft Quilt is available in 100mm, 150mm and 200mm thicknesses in widths to suit most joist spaces.
The material is rolled between the joists and may then be applied in a second layer across the joists to prevent the 'cool bridge' which is created by the ceiling plaster board and each of the joists.
The fully trained and approved installers will then remove all excess material and waste and leave your house clean and tidy.
